The Snowy Mountain

The Snowy Mountain

Chapter 1: Waking up

I woke up at 5:30 and started getting ready to go to the snow. Luckily I didn't need to put my snow clothes on until we got there. I got dressed in the clothes that I was wearing underneath my snow clothes and ate my breakfast. Then I hopped in the car with my books.

Chapter 2: 3 more hours

3 hours had passed. I went to sleep in those 3 hours and I had also read two short books. It was only supposed to take 4 hours but it looked like it would take about 6 hours. I started reading a big book to make the journey seem shorter. In the end I decided to go back to sleep because that would definitely make my journey seem shorter

Chapter 3: The meeting place

I woke up to see we were at meeting place so I could put on my snow clothes and my snow boots. I played on the playground with my cousins. Then we got back in the car. Now we only had 25 minutes to go

Chapter 4: The snow

We were at the snow, we got out and ran down to the snow. I tried to grab some snow but it was hard. I decided to go the toboggans. I grabbed the rope and pushed myself forward. ” AHHHH” I screamed. I didn't have control and I went past the safety fence and kept on going. I stopped just before the water. I had lost my snow boot but I just dragged the toboggan with my foot and got my snow boot.
Chapter 5: Home time

We were on the way home so I decided to go to sleep until I got to noodle canteen.

My Camp Experience - Kayaking.

I was getting a life jacket so I could get onto a kayak. About 5 seconds later I was in a kayak, rowing out into the lake.I went over to the raft building area. The group at the raft building were trying to get the raft into the water by pushing it with a paddle. The group were nearly there, so about 10 seconds later they were in the water and were paddling into the lake. Then one of them fell off. Everyone was laughing as the person that fell off was trying to get onto the raft. They had been rowing into the lake about half way when they stopped and went back. They got back so we had to go back to the start so we could get off.

I got back to the start in about 30 seconds because I could paddle fast. I got off and I left my shoes and long sleeve by the kayaks so I could get them later. Little did I know that my shoes were slowly sinking into the mud. I went back up to the cabin to get dressed and then I asked if I could go down and get them. I went down to get them and thats when I found out my shoes were sinking!

I rushed down the rest of the hill nearly slipping over into the lake. I went to grab my shoes. I grabbed them and my long sleeve and went back to my cabin so I could put my shoes away and go and get some lunch.
