I was getting a life jacket so I could get onto a kayak. About 5 seconds later I was in a kayak, rowing out into the lake.I went over to the raft building area.The group at the raft building were trying to get the raft into the water by pushing it with a paddle.The group were nearly there, so about 10 seconds later they were in the water and were paddling into the lake. Then one of them fell off. Everyone was laughing as the person that fell off was trying to get onto the raft. They had been rowing into the lake about half way when they stopped and went back. They got back so we had to go back to the start so we could get off.
I got back to the start in about 30 seconds because I could paddle fast. I got off and I left my shoes and long sleeve by the kayaks so I could get them later. Little did I know that my shoes were slowly sinking into the mud. I went back up to the cabin to get dressed and then I asked if I could go down and get them. I went down to get them and thats when I found out my shoes were sinking!
I rushed down the rest of the hill nearly slipping over into the lake. I went to grab my shoes. I grabbed them and my long sleeve and went back to my cabin so I could put my shoes away and go and get some lunch.
